Abstrakt: | Part 3 of the book "Auschwitz: A Doctor's Story" is presented. It describes the children's camps in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Poland including the problems they faced such as undernourishment, starvation, fatigue from being overworked and thirst. It explores the selection process made in choosing prisoners to be put through the gas chambers and crematoria. A list of labor assignments that were most wanted by the prisoners and the arrival of Hungarian Jews on May 17, 1944 are also presented. |
