The article describes the initiatives of the U.S. Army Contracting Campaign Plan-Task Force (ACCP-TF) to improve the agency's ability to manage contracted support. The Army Contracting Command was created to provide deployable military contracting expertise and a Mission and Installation Contracting Command. The ACCP-TF is drafting doctrine, policies and training for the employment of Contracting Support Brigades. Technology improvements include the Virtual Contracting Enterprise and the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems. |
