Abstrakt: The article cites a research report of the 2004 National Cottonseed Treatment Program. It assesses the efficacy of the nominations and seedling disease pressure for seedlings and soil populations of selected soilborne fungi in 18 sites. Eighteen field experiments were conducted by 15 cooperators throughout the U.S. Cotton Belt. Results show that seed treatment fungicides improved the stands of cotton as compared to a nontreated control for 39% of the sites. Several charts that list the seed treatment processes are also included.
