Abstrakt:	Information about the Canadian Atlantic Section meeting under the Society of Naval architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) held on September 2008 is presented. Research and development on ocean energy were discussed during the meeting. Nancy Rondeaux, an engineer, also talked about fundy in-stream tidal energy during the event.
