| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on "Sur," by Ursula K. Le Guin. "Sur" is said to be an exploration being defined as masculine or feminine. It is said to project the social construction of gender and sexuality in contemporary society. Also, Le Guin is said to estrange the myth by depicting women who have been released from the constraints of patriarchal tradition. It is also said to combine science fiction with historical fiction to form a utopian setting. |
