Abstrakt: The article features the Dandenong Project, a Sacred Space in a large public hospital in Victoria. The Advisory Group of the Dandenong Hospital, headed by Joan Corfee and Mirella Rao from the Pastoral Care Department, stated that the objectives of the sacred space is to make a place of refuge and comfort, where one's spirit can be lifted, and where every emotion can be expressed. The creation of the space would consider the religions of different people who use the hospital. There are prayer mats for the Islams and areas for Christian liturgical traditions. The structure would contain abstract paintings on the walls and seven niches for the Sacred Books of Faith at the entrance.
