The article features Ontario dentists George Zarb and Norman Levine, recipients of the Order of Canada. According to Zarb, what pushed him in the direction of implants was his concern for old people who did not have teeth. His distinguished international career had its start in Malta. Meanwhile, Levine's self-fulfillment is linked to helping others. His career as a pediatric dentist and professor is punctuated with a series of initiatives which brought changes in dental education and care. |
