Abstrakt: This project provides fundamental research evidence to suggest a new strategic path forward for the U.S. menswear industry. To accomplish this ambitious goal, we have assembled a multidisciplinary team of researchers with expertise in consumer psychology, gender studies, textile engineering and apparel design. Employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to study shifting masculinities, our project is culminating in a demographically balanced survey of American men. In particular, we are analyzing the degree of synchronicity between consumers and industry, drawing upon multiple methods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
