Abstrakt: The article discusses the round houses of French architect, painter and designer Pierre-Adrien Páris during the French Revolution. It is said that the grave monument, the dovecote and the house for Vauclusotte were three expressions of one impulse. The colombier or dovecote was a type of vernacular architecture with both social significance and a striking appearance whether in France or England.
