The article discusses the relationship between a mother and a daughter. The author narrates her experiences as a small child and how the old photographs reminds her of people like Aunt Jerry. She cites an old photo titled Girl Scout Troops 35 and 61 and describes the girls in the photo. She discusses the rules of health for a fifth grader and elaborates on the treatment of the Filipino flag. She mentions how she and other girls portrayed the lives of Jose Rizal and her mother. She narrates how her mother succumbed to an illness which led to her death. |
