Abstrakt: The article reports on the use of Bluetooth technology in cochlear implants (CIs) and hearing aids in the U.S. It states that to use Bluetooth devices to access acoustic, one must wear a Bluetooth headset to receive the wireless signal and allow the sound to enter the hearing aid or CI from the headset speaker. Also, one way to access Bluetooth audio directly in hearing aid or CI is with a telecoil. INSET: Bluetooth "Pairing" - How do you get connected?.
