An interview with San Manuel Band of Mission Indians portfolio manager Bill Lomax is presented. When asked how a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree was able to help in his career, Lomax states that having an MBA helped give him a more collaborative and constructive approach in dealing with people and situations. He relates that practicing law gave him an adversarial mindset which he did not want to cultivate in the long-term. Lomax cites that he has learned to view other tribes not as competitors, but collaborators. |
