| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study of the effect of Internet usage on reading skill among college students in Coimbatore Region, India. The factors that affect the betterment in language use include the nature of interaction via computer and the way students communicate and use the multimedia modes. The potential of the Internet for creating and providing access to multiuser, interactive multimedia environments is cited. The region was said to be the only city with a wide variety of courses and higher education facility in southern districts of Tamilnadu. |
