The article discusses the role of community colleges in securing the future of the U.S. nation's global prosperity. It states that these institutions provide students and employees the content and the tools necessary to knowledgeably interact with diverse populations at home and abroad. It talks about the concept and merit of intercultural and international learning in the country. It stresses the importance of understanding cultural populations in order to achieve prosperity. It explains the creation of an environment for intercultural and international learning. It asserts that the future of the nation's global prosperity is directly linked to the commitment of higher education to prepare students to live and work in a multicultural world community. |
