The article describes the case of a 17-year old male who had tooth displacement during extraction of a maxillary third molar that could no longer be visualized. The tooth was not in the maxillary sinus despite of the dry blood detected in the right nostril. He underwent a conservative retrieval technique under local anesthesia to remove the impacted molar. Posterior surgical retraction was used during the surgery to prevent further migration of the tooth. |
