Immediate loading of dental implants is becoming an increasingly accepted clinical protocol. Many studies have demonstrated successful osseointegration with immediate loading. For the first time at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine eight maxillary implants were placed and immediately loaded with interim fixed conversion prosthesis.
