| Abstrakt: | The article offers information on artist F. G. Byron. In 1791 at the Society of Artists, Byron exhibited a set of five watercolors made on a voyage to France in 1790. The Musée de la Révolution Française at Vizille, France acquired one of the paintings. In an article in "La Revue du Louvre et des Musées de France," museum Director Philippe Bordes noted that Byron once served as the chief designer and etcher for publisher William Holland. |
