Abstrakt:	This article presents an extensive analysis of the word order and mensuration of the Old English work of Beowulf, discussing the "Bookarts analogy" set forth by philologist Robert D. Stevick in a seminar on the text in 1967. The presence of mathematical patterns and structures within the text of the work is asserted and examined.
