| Abstrakt: | The article discusses highlights of the District 16 Conference of the American Welding Society (AWS) that was held on June 14, 2008 at the Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa. The Iowa Section representatives included Charles Burg, Eric Peterson, Mike Rahn, Robert Kephart, and Keith Simpson. Members of the Nebraska Section were Karl Fogleman, Jason Hill and Monty Rodgers. AWS Executive Director Ray Shook served as the headquarters staff representative at the event. |
