Chapter 19 of the book "Underground Injection: Science and Technology" is presented. It presents a study on generic modeling designed to be complementary to density modeling to provide modeling results to support the use of a range of quarterly averages in future petition modeling. It provides results showing that the plume extent and location are controlled by the average injectate density, the fluctuations of which do not contribute measurably to the plume extent. |
