Abstrakt: Chapter 10 of the book "Historic Floors: Their History and Conservation" is presented. It discusses the preservation of records created in the recording of historic floors. Flat, unrolled and unfolded storage is suggested to prevent the risk of strain and distortion. References should also be placed on plans, rubbings and drawings to reduce damage from unnecessary handling. The records should also be transferred to a repository to meet environmental and custodial standards.
