Abstrakt: The article describes the case of a 42-year-old man presented with a six-month nonexertional chest pain. He had a positive family history for myocardial infarction. This patient is thought to have idiopathic dilatation of the pulmonary artery, an unusual congenital anomaly. Idiopathic dilatation of the pulmonary arteries is thought to be a benign condition. Echocardiography confirmed a dilated pulmonary artery and the absence of pulmonary hypertension or structural abnormalities which might have caused secondary dilatation of the pulmonary artery.
