Abstrakt:	An essay is presented on the visitors from the Cheyenne River Reservation of South Dakota at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, Massachusetts. It elaborates how these visitors were treated and accepted by the management and staff of the facility. During their visit, they received a pipe and whimsey, two items which they considered sacred.
