| Abstrakt: | The article reports on the survey conducted by the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, that violent crimes against GLBT people were high in 2008. The group reported that since February, there have been 13 GLBT hate crimes nationwide. According to Sharon Stapel, executive director of the New York City Anti-Violence Project, they have been witnessing what appears to be a rise in both the occurrence and severity of violence. |
