The author reflects on the context of cutting edge in whitewater paddlesports. He notes that people in the sport tend to rate cutting edge based on the height of waterfalls, the flow in cubic feet per second, the feet per mile and the Classic V rating. He believes that every aspects of the sport has elements of cutting edge. He stresses that different people have different views on what is considered cutting edge and that the more people look at it the moe it becomes unclear. |
