| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on a painting, an impressionistic interpretation of boats in a harbor, given by a teenaged patient with ulcerative proctitis to a physician. According to a medical resident, the opposition of the father of the patient to the desire of his daughter to attend art school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania worsens the condition of the patient. The author relates his experience of writing and convincing the father to allow his daughter to attend art school. |
