Abstrakt: The article presents a study that evaluates the coverage error and goal formulation of Kentucky Community and Technical College System's (KCTCS) Kentucky Information Technology Center (KITCenter) to enhance the instruction and capabilities regarding information technology (IT). Program completers were interviewed via telephone by trained and supervised interviewers who are employees of the University of Kentucky Survey Research Center (UK-SRC). Responses for completers in the 2001-2005 period were obtained from 256 of 294 contacted, with an overall cooperation rate of 87.1%. Researchers conclude based on experience with the study that plans for a census or probability-based sampling must be revised sometimes during the study and that official goals must be cautiously developed.
