The article examines the works of Venezuelan artist Edgar Sanchez. Some of the defining features in Sanchez's works include the presence of the human being and his ability to allow figures to emerge from a fine weave of points, lines and layers of material. Information is presented on the awards received by Sanchez as a beginner artist. It describes how Sanchez used the ambiguities of vision in the series "Piel y personaje," and "Piel y paisaje." It relates the plastic and existential formulations in the paintings and drawings of Sanchez. |
