The article examines the recommendation on a proposed national database for stolen and unlawfully removed cultural objects at museums in Great Britain. In an effort to support the legal movement of cultural objects, the Dealing in Cultural Objects Act 2003 has been implemented. The Act states that a person commits an offence if he dishonestly deals a tainted cultural objects, such as removal from a structure of historical, architectural or archaeological interest. |
