| Abstrakt: |
This article summarizes the articles in this issue of "Violence & Victims." The articles deal with the application of the transtheoretical model of change to the victims and perpetrators of intimate partner abuse. The studies indicate that greater attention must be paid to stages of change and the motivation to change for both the victim and perpetrator. The studies also indicate that the transtheoretical model of change could result in significant advances in the refinement of intervention methods for domestic violence and abuse. |
