| Abstrakt: | A literary criticism of the book "Bloom's Modern Critical Views: Walt Whitman, Updated Edition" edited by Harold Bloom is presented. It analyzes the comments of Whitman on his career in journalism where he compares it as a thing gone as quick as come and has no life and that its birth and death is coterminous. It also points out that the co-presence of birth and death recurs the language of "Song of Myself." |
