The article presents an interview with Dai Davies, general manager of Delivery of Advanced Network Technology to Europe Ltd. (DANTE). When asked about the first job in information technology (IT) sector, Davies refers to his job as a development engineer with the company Post Office Telecommunications, applying computer technology to electromechanical switching systems. Davies believes that Microsoft Corp. is the most influential, IT vendor. Davies also comments on the Internet collapse. |
