Abstrakt: The article focuses on the themes and motives of Native American trickster stories in the U.S. It cites that their stories are more on sexual antics and jokes. It also considers trickster crap as a joke, which has impacted several scientists and literature critics. Moreover, it discusses the use of metaphor on trickster discourse as well as the impact of metaphor on Western literature. Some examples of their works are discussed, including "Trickster Discourse," by Gerald Vizenor and "The Trickster," by Paul Radin.
