Abstrakt: The intermittency corrections in pressure in the inertial range of turbulence using high resolution decaying turbulence simulations are discussed. The contribution to pressure intermittency of strain-dominated, enstrophy-dominated, equal-strain-enstrophy and the background-structures are presented. It is found that the pth order pressure structure function is independent of the order p for a wide range of separation distances r. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
