This document is part of Volume 20 'Nuclear Charge Radii' of Landolt-Börnstein - Group I 'Elementary Particles, Nuclei and Atoms'. The available data concerning the determination of the root mean square radius 1/2 of the nucleus are reviewed. The available data from optical spectroscopy, K X-ray spectroscopy, muonic atom and electron scattering experiments are considered. Where possible, the information of the different experimental methods is combined to achieve model-independent root mean square radii of the isotopic nuclei and the radius differences between them. The present document contains data from optical, muonic atom and electron scattering experiments on Thallium. A combined analysis of the data is performed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
