Abstrakt: Since several years, a special attention has been given to the correlated samples method in many laboratories, in order to complete results of Monte Carlo simulations with perturbation calculations, in the field of core neutronic and shielding. After a presentation of the method and of estimators used, a variance analysis is done by introducing integral equations allowing the calculation of variances and covariance. Conditions defining asymptotic perturbations are given, behaviour of confidence on differential responses is studied, using this general formalism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
