Abstrakt: The essay examines "The Mimic Men" by V.S. Naipaul as a description of the political voice of East Indians in West Indies. It concludes that the novel emphasizes the migration of previously binded East Indians in search of authenticity. It depicts that creolization favors some identities and alienates others.
