Early open-air museums: traditions of museums about traditions.

Abstrakt: The article explores the encountered difficulties faced by curators and founders of open-air museum in maintaining the popularity of the museum without losing its valued cultural heritage in Europe. As the popularity of open-air museums begun to flourish and blossomed in the different parts of the European countries, founders and curators were faced with an overall question if the displayed archaeological artifacts or antiquities would still represent the culture and tradition of their country. For that matter, an edited government memorandum has been furnished to balance the effects of modernization and the past in order to represent efficiently one's cultural heritage and traditions.
