What is an 'intelligent museum'?

Abstrakt: The article discusses the author's view about an intelligent museum based on his experiments with special reference to museum architecture in Japan. According to the author, an intelligent museum can also become a more user-friendly museum in which bringing it to existence is fraught with problems for architects and museum professionals. The author added that creating intelligent museums is a real challenge with questions on retails and major issues on requiring costly solution. The article also presents the stages in modern Japanese museum architecture including technological innovation, innovation in electricity, and information.
