This article presents information on the 14th Visions du Réel documentary film festival held April 17 to 23, 2008 in Nyon, Switzerland. Films that were screened at the festival include "La Mère," about a 45 year old woman who was raised in Russia as one of nine children, from Antoine Cattin and Pavel Kostomarov; "Sollbruchstelle," on the struggle of men in a liberal economy, from Eva Stotz; and "Il resto di una storia," based on the personal experiences of the director, from Antonio Prata. |
