Abstrakt: The article focuses on the reintroduction of the ravenstail weaving at the Northwest Coast. The reintroduction is a continuing process with educational programs that added awareness to the tradition. The contemporary ravenstail weaving had issues including ownership to weaving, villages rivalry, and legal concern on the use of fur of sea otters. Cheryl Samuel, a nonnative work on the secret of weaving techniques has been looked closely for few people has the weaving skills.
