The article discusses the return of a balance between seller supply of and buyer demand for real estate properties. As stated, the balancing is due to changing market which allows buyers to negotiate more favorably the due diligence, deposit, as-is and release provisions, and sellers remedies. It is said that sellers may no longer dictate one-sided, seller-friendly purchase agreements. Instead, as the pendulum swings to its lowest, buyers will now be able to maximize value and obtain assurances through negotiation for more balanced purchase agreements. |
