Abstrakt: The article focuses on the term "Woven Forms" and "New Tapestry" which are evolved at the Contemporary Crafts Museum in New York. It mentions that the term tapestry is the historical precedent in the Western world fro wall-hung textiles which reflected to their architectural context. Meanwhile, woven forms recognized the movement away from the flat rectilinearly of loom production into freer, more spontaneous, weaver-determined shapes. In the "State of the Art: Contemporary Fiber," the fiber has reformed all of its historical techniques and has added new techniques such as papermaking, painting, xerography, and casting.
