Abstrakt:	The author shares his experience working in the oil and gas industry. He believes that those who are on their way towards retirement must make an effort to share their experiences to the recruits in the industry in order for them to counteract the public's opinion of the industry. He offers an idea of how much money is involved when one is exploring for oil and gas in deep water rigs. The author emphasizes that changes in the world as a whole are good, but the need for manpower due to a shortage in the industry should be addressed.
