| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the postal history of the arrival and relay of the Olympic torch in San Francisco, California. The author notes that this was only the second time the Olympic torch had circumnavigated the globe, the first was before the 2004 Athens Olympics. The torch arrived in San Francisco at 3:40 a.m. on April 8, 2008. There was no ceremony for the arrival of the torch in San Francisco, except to show it to photographers. |
