The article focuses on the accelerated development of several unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAV). According to the authors, the remaining technological challenges of UCAV are not insurmountable because composite manufacturing is an established industry skill, computer autonomy and artificial intelligence are advancing, and the weapons planned for use by at least some platforms exist. |
