Abstrakt: The article discusses conditions that cause nonischemic ST elevation that can mimic myocardial infarction (MI). Pericarditis, the inflammation of the pericardium, often causes widespread ST elevation that can mimic MI. ST elevation in Printzmetal or variant angina usually resolves with nitroglycerin treatment.
