The article focuses on the Free and Informed Consent (IC) in qualitative health research. It discusses the meaning of IC for the researcher and for the participant. The factors that the Term of Consent must include based on the Guidelines on Ethics in Research with Human Beings are cited, which include the justification, objectives and procedures that will be used in research and guarantee of confidentiality. |
