The article focuses on the move of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to warn printers that use the service's orange plastic pallets other than sending mail through the USPS system. The USPS has a motivational influence to re-supply the printers with sufficient pallets. However, the author notes that these pallets are often seen in unauthorized use in all type and size of printers. Precision pallets became the enabling factors in reliable performance since high-speed sheetfed presses integrate automated materials handling and non-stop delivery systems. Newspaper insert printers are recommended to use plastic returnable Perfect Pallets instead of USPS pallets. INSET: PALLET solution. |
