The article presents an analysis on the relationship between quality and efficiency in hospital care industry. It provides an effective approach to measuring cost and quality of hospital care in the United States, as the federal government attempts to realign health care resources to other community needs. It is mentioned that effective allocation of resources and development of high-performance work processes are important to improve quality of care. |
